Christine Stuckey is looking for a DVD entitled “History Channel – The Real Face of Jesus from the Shroud of Turin.” She lent it to someone, possibly one of her CCD students, to view at home and has forgotten who it was. She would like it returned.
Thank you - Thank you for the support through the second collection this past weekend for the mission trip to Athens, Ohio. The group is working hard to cover the costs of the trip designed to impact the lives of those touched, but more so those of the youth and adults participating. It is a pleasure sharing the blessings of our generous congregation. Thanks again! Becky Singer
A Family Perspective: In today’s gospel Jesus tells us, HE IS THE WAY and warns anyone who offers “another way” to happiness is “a thief and a bandit.” Strong words! Don’t’ listen to the sales pitch of society for happiness. Look to yourself where God is present and “calls you by name and leads you to abundant life.”

All parishioners are encouraged to take a baby bottle next weekend and collect coins and cash between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, 2017. Last year $3,300+ was collected and the center was able to purchase a larger ultrasound monitor for one of the exam rooms, solid surface flooring for two exam rooms, and some added technology equipment for the staff conference room. This year the center is in need of pregnancy tests for a year @$300; 3 laptop computers @$800 each; parenting curriculum called Life Skills Lessons @$360; an overhead projector @$850; or a TV monitor @$200. Please help us help one of our local pregnancy centers by supporting the Mother’s Day to Father’s Day Project. Thank you.
Parish Council Wants Your Feedback - The Parish Council is considering having a hog roast in the east parking lot at the Marysdale site this summer on Sunday, July 23, beginning around 6 p.m. The night would include a potluck supper with dancing – similar to the event hosted at Marysdale back in the 80’s. We would like suggestions and feedback from parishioners about the idea. Luke Shininger (419-770-1980) is chairman of this event so feel free to contact him or any other parish council member with your feedback.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to the St. Isidore parishioners who remembered me with money, gifts, and cards on my 82nd Birthday. Please keep me in your prayers so I will be able to continue as housekeeper for Fr. Bob. Thanks a million and may God bless you.
Love & Prayers, Anita Bertsch

The calendars will be made available on a monthly basis. You will note that some of the parishes receiving the calendars are not part of our deanery. They are, however, home parishes to one of our current seminarians. Parishioners are encouraged to pick up a calendar and pray for vocations.
