Dear St. Isidore Parishioners,
The St. Isidore Parish Council has been monitoring the financial condition of our parish. We feel we need to bring to everyone’s attention that we are not meeting our day to day requirements with our current income. For quite some time we have been averaging a yearly deficit. The council is currently pursuing as many avenues as possible to decrease this loss, but there are very few discretionary expenses. We will have more details at the open parish council meeting. We invite you to attend the meeting April 7 after the 10:00 A. M. Mass at Marysdale. Thank You, St. Isidore Parish Council
“Faith, Femininity, Fashion and Friendship – If you are a Junior High, High-School or College gal and want to grow in faithfulness to Christ, please come and attend our Catholic girls' retreat! During this retreat we will eat lunch, have prayer time, watch videos, listen to talks, learn make-up techniques and have group discussions. You will be given the tools to grow, live, and laugh with other young women as you strive for holiness. Suggested donation of $5.00 to attend. Contact Kelly Shininger at 419-438-1522 for details and permission slip.
A Family Perspective: The owner of the fig tree was impatient because the tree did not live up to his expectations. In families, there are those who don’t live up to our expectations. Imitate the gardener and give them more time and help. Don’t cut them out of your life. Love asks us to be connected, not productive.

Volunteers Needed - During the season of Lent, there are many opportunities to help with the beautiful liturgies leading up to Easter and gain the graces and the fruits of assisting for yourself and others! This is a great way to make an offering for Lent as well as helping out your parish. If you would like to volunteer in some way please speak to, call, or message Rebecca Mansel-Pleydell at 419-439-8660 or Deacon Scott at 419-518-0281.
* Three adults are needed to accept the honor of attending the Chrism Mass at Holy Rosary Cathedral on April 16 to receive the holy oils/chrism for our parish. Many past participants have commented on the beauty of this Mass.
* We are in need of volunteers to participate in the washing of feet on Holy Thursday. This is special sacrifice you could offer up for Lent since we typically struggle to find willing participants!
* Volunteer servers are always appreciated for the Stations of the Cross. Please arrive 10 minutes early.
* We need readers and cantors for the Tenebrae Service on Wednesday April 17. You do not have to be a regular lector or cantor/choir member to volunteer! Anyone high school age and older who would like to read one of the 15 readings or sing one of the responses will be welcome and given instructions.
Thank you for your assistance!

The wars, unrest and instability have been especially hard on Christians. In these times of crisis, the Pontifical Good Friday Collection provides humanitarian aid to refugees.
